Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of pico cam, including the pico cam iOS app, pico cam+ purchases, and the website at picocam.app.

By using pico cam, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.

If you downloaded pico cam from the Apple App Store, your use of the app is also subject to Apple's App Store terms and Apple's standard licensed application end user license agreement, unless a separate agreement applies.

The App

pico cam is a camera app for taking, developing, saving, and sharing instant-style pictures.

pico cam is provided for personal, non-commercial use unless we agree otherwise in writing.

No Account

pico cam does not currently require or provide user accounts. App data is primarily stored locally on your device. Because there are no accounts, we may not be able to recover your photos, settings, free tier counts, total picture counts, or local app data if they are lost, deleted, or unavailable.

Purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. pico cam and RevenueCat use purchase records and an app customer identifier to check and restore pico cam+ access.

pico cam+ purchases can usually be restored through Apple and RevenueCat using the same Apple ID, subject to App Store availability and purchase records.

Free Tier

pico cam may offer a free tier with limited features, such as a limited number of fully developed pictures or limited editing tools. After the free tier limit is reached, you may still be able to take pictures, but some pictures may remain undeveloped or washed out unless you upgrade to pico cam+.

We may change the free tier, feature limits, or pico cam+ features over time. Changes will not remove photos already stored locally on your device, but some features may require pico cam+ to use.

pico cam+

pico cam+ is the paid version of pico cam. It may unlock features such as:

• unlimited pictures;
• additional marker types and editing tools;
• reset/develop features;
• frames, filters, settings, or future creative tools;
• shortcuts, selfie timer, or related capture tools;
• other premium features described in the app or on the App Store.

Feature availability may change over time as pico cam evolves.

Subscriptions and Lifetime Purchase

pico cam+ may be offered as weekly, yearly, or lifetime purchase options.

Subscriptions

If you buy a pico cam+ subscription:

• payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase;
• the subscription automatically renews unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period;
• your Apple ID may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current billing period;
• you can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings;
• deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.

Subscription prices and durations are shown in the app purchase screen and may vary by country or region.

Lifetime purchase

If you buy a pico cam+ lifetime purchase, it provides access to pico cam+ features for the lifetime of the pico cam app, subject to these Terms.

"Lifetime" does not mean your lifetime or the lifetime of any device. It means the lifetime of the pico cam app as we continue to make it available and support it. We may stop offering or supporting pico cam in the future if necessary, including for technical, legal, business, platform, or safety reasons.

Trials, Promotions, and Price Changes

pico cam may offer trials, promotions, launch pricing, discounts, or introductory offers. Eligibility is determined by Apple, RevenueCat, and applicable App Store rules.

Prices may change in the future. If a subscription price changes, Apple will handle any required notice, consent, or cancellation options according to App Store rules.

Refunds

Purchases made through the Apple App Store are handled by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple, and Apple's refund policies apply.

We cannot guarantee that Apple will grant a refund.

Your Content and Photos

You keep ownership of photos you take with pico cam.

You are responsible for your photos and for how you save, share, publish, or use them. Do not use pico cam to create, store, or share content that violates the law, infringes someone else's rights, invades privacy, or harms others.

pico cam does not back up your in-app gallery to a pico cam server. You are responsible for saving or backing up photos you want to keep.

Permissions

pico cam may request camera access and permission to add photos to your Photos library. Some features may not work if you deny permissions.

If future features request notifications, Live Activities, or shortcuts-related permissions, pico cam will use them only for the feature you enable.

You can manage permissions in iOS Settings.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use pico cam for illegal, harmful, abusive, harassing, deceptive, or infringing activity;
• attempt to reverse engineer, modify, tamper with, or bypass app limits, purchase checks, or security features, except where allowed by law;
• use pico cam in a way that damages, disables, or interferes with the app or related services;
• misuse the website, forms, or support channels;
• violate Apple App Store rules or applicable law.

App Changes and Availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue pico cam or any feature at any time. We may also update the app to fix bugs, improve features, add or remove functionality, or comply with legal or platform requirements.

Some features may depend on iOS, Apple services, device capabilities, RevenueCat, internet access, or App Store availability. We are not responsible for failures or changes caused by third-party platforms or services.

Third-Party Services

pico cam may rely on third-party services, including Apple, RevenueCat, Vercel, Tally, or other providers. Their terms and policies may also apply.

We are not responsible for third-party services, websites, payment systems, or platform decisions.

No Warranty

pico cam is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, reliability, or error-free operation.

We do not guarantee that pico cam will preserve photos, operate without interruption, or meet your expectations.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Soon Tiac Ching will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost photos, lost goodwill, device issues, or service interruption arising from or related to pico cam.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to pico cam will not exceed the amount you paid for pico cam+ in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some limitations may not apply to you.

Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Soon Tiac Ching from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of pico cam, your photos or content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

Termination

You may stop using pico cam at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to features if you violate these Terms, misuse the app or website, or if required by law or platform rules.

Termination does not automatically cancel an active Apple subscription. You must cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID settings.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict of law rules, unless consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.

Courts located in Singapore will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, unless applicable law gives you the right to bring claims elsewhere.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.

Your continued use of pico cam after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
